Health Personnel was founded out of an informed research of the health and social care industry. We identified a mismatch between the demand and supply for quality, reliable and dedicated health and social care staff. We appreciate that in promoting the well-being of our clients, it is important to provide a consistent service. We recognise that this can only be achieved if we have a motivated and dedicated workforce. Therefore, although, all our experienced staff must have a minimum of 6 months experience, our niche is to attract, train and retain high quality staff by providing an in-house training facility that enables us to train would be carers to NVQ level and to conduct mandatory training to keep both our qualified and care staff up-to-date with current professional practices. Our line managers are charged with supporting their staff on ongoing basis by providing them the opportunity to shadow more experienced staff during the period of work experience. Our inspectors also carry out unannounced spot-checks to ensure that our clients only get the best out of our service.
Due to the nature of the industry we serve, we recognise that our prime business is promoting health and well-being. We attach paramount importance to the strict adherence of the regulatory legislative context that informs and governs our practice. We are members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), a professional association of home care providers from the independent, voluntary, not-for-profit and statutory sectors.
We are fully registered and compliant with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are subject to announced and unannounced inspection.
Every Health personnel staff is actively encouraged to join a professional body, e.g. Trade Union that will provide help, support and advice on employment issues if the need should arises. However, we are adequately insured in line with the requirements of the legislation. Our policy covers: Employers liability, Public liability, Protection of Children & Vulnerable Adults abuse liability, Professional Indemnity, and etc. |
